This company, located in Bremen, IN is looking to hire multiple Maintenance Technicians (Level I, Level II and Level III)
Level I for 1st shift and Level II and Level III for 3rd Shift

Job Description

Principal Objective:
Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.

Duties and
Responsibilities:

1. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sound to locate causes of trouble.

2. Dismantle Machinery to gain access to and remove and replace defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.

3. Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagram sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specification, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing equipment.

4. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and straight edges.

5. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools

6. Lubricate and clean parts.

7. Occasionally set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

8. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.

Desirable
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Physical Demands:
Continuous standing and walking throughout the entire 8 - 12 hour shift; regular lifting up to 70 pounds. Frequent pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, crawling & climbing. Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and be able to read specs and prints. The ability to perform visual inspection is a necessity.

Required Experience
Working Knowledge:
Three years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment. Must be able to operate a forklift.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
